Product certification in the Republic of Azerbaijan is carried out on the basis of the national certification system AZS
AZS Certificate of Conformity is an international official document certifying that the relevant product meets the required normative, technical requirements and standards. In our country, such certificates of conformity can be issued by institutions accredited by the Azerbaijan Accreditation Center under the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
A certificate of conformity with the AZS mark may be required by the buyer to ensure that the product undergoes pre-defined tests and meets both technical and safety requirements.
To ensure the recognition of certificates and marks of conformity abroad, the AZS National Certification System is established and operates in accordance with applicable norms and regulations, as well as interacts with national certification systems of international, regional and other countries.
AZS National Certification System as external certification systems, consumers, public organizations, certification bodies, testing laboratories, as well as all other interested enterprises and organizations, individuals, system activities, including its rules, system participants, accreditation and certification results provides free access to information about Confidentiality of information constituting a trade secret is ensured.
The official language of the national certification system is Azerbaijani. Documents used, registered and issued within the system (orders, protocols, acts, certificates, certificates, etc.) are compiled in the Azerbaijani language. At the request of the customer, copies of documents can be provided in any language for a special fee.
